December has been a busy month with the installation of Mainstay in two hotels and preparing for new installations in January.
We are pleased to welcome the following hotels as Mainstay customers,
Castle Venlaw (Peebles)
Castle Venlaw is a historic property located in the Scottish borders Peebles. When the new owners Lorna Curry and her husband Roy took over they contacted us to find out more about the range of services we could provide and our PMS system Mainstay, we were more than happy to discuss and assist them with any information they required.
Lorna was looking for a PMS system that was easy to use, train staff, and interface with third parties such as epos and sage, but would also provide them with a range of reporting and financial information, we are happy to say Mainstay was able to meet all their requirements.
We provided a new pc, monitor and multi function printer at the request of the owners, due to their equipment failing.
Queenshead Hotel (Hawkshead Cumbria)
The Queenshead Hotel is situated in a small village called Hawkshead in the Lake District. The eight bedroom hotel has an excellent reputation for food so when the new owners took over they decided to install an EPOS system with a new PMS system.
We arranged a time to demonstrate Mainstay remotely and answer any questions the new owners had, at the end of the demonstration we were delighted that they decided to accept Mainstay and Mainstay online.
Mainstay meets all the requirements for the hotel, and interfaces with the new epos system they had chosen seamlessly, the installation and training of Mainstay went very smoothly and we were happy to work with the suppliers of the epos to ensure the link into Mainstay was set up correctly.

The Mainstay support team at Pinnacle are helpful, friendly and efficient and are able to remotely access our pc to resolve any issues we may have.

We have been working with Pinnacle installing our online booking facility through our new websites, we have three places altogether totalling 64 bedrooms to let. Pinnacle have been great, very patient and helpful at all times holding our hands to load all the information and trouble shooting to make sure everything is working perfectly at all times. They offer a very efficient support service which we would have been lost without, they log onto our system at any time helping you to sort out any issues you may have. We have had Mainstay as our hotel reservation system since September 2006. We have got to know the team at Pinnacle well as they are always on hand when mistakes are made. Now that they can log on to your system from their office also makes working life in the hotel so much simpler. They deliver the best service possible to us and have also recently upgraded our software package too. No mistake is to big and they can always help, I would recommend this service to anyone thinking of updating or changing their reservation service.

The system is ideal for a small hotel, is pretty simple and easy to use, and most importantly the support is fantastic. I have been using Mainstay for the past 8 years + and find it as useful now as when I first started using Mainstay. Initially we had never owned or ran a hotel before and so I was unaware of the different booking systems that were on the market, but after using Mainstay all the ones offered were substantially inferior to Mainstay I have found.
